We welcome you to the services of "The Medical Tourist Company". Our aim is to deliver a high quality and affordable product that allows our customers to experience excellent medical services abroad. We act as a partner through your journey from the initial consultation through to your return journey home.
The products and services offered by "The Medical Tourist Company" are delivered through our service partners or us.
For your information, the following points highlight the obligations between yourself and us:
1. Our role is to act as a third party facilitator between our partners and yourself; we will always endeavour to work in your best interests as part of this process. The quote that we will supply will include the procedure that you and our partner have agreed upon. All procedures should be thoroughly understood and if there is any aspect that you do not understand please seek clarification. Your quote may also include the cost of travel and other services.
Please note that all surgery has a risk attached to it and in the case of cosmetic surgery there may be dissatisfaction with the final outcome.
We will not be held responsible for medical procedure disputes. Our liability is limited to a duty of care in our capacity as a third party facilitator governed by UK law.
Remedial Care
In the event a customer needs to return for remedial care The Medical Tourist Company will provide reasonable support in its capacity as a " facilitator."
In the event of a dispute between you and the surgeon this would be conducted under the country in which your operation took place unless otherwise agreed.
Complaints:
The Medical Tourist Company takes all complaints seriously. We request that all complaints are made in writing and forwarded to The Medical Director,

2. a) Our quotes will include all or some of the following: travel costs, transfers agreed medical treatment costs, tours, pre and post operative consultations. In the event there is additional costs due to complications these costs will either be extra or included in the initial quote. Please check at the time of booking whether there will be a risk of additional costs for your operation.
2. b). Other quotes for any of our other services are as agreed.
All of our quotes are valid for a period of 28 days from the date on the invoice.
3. Upon confirmation of your medical treatment and accommodation if applicable, a deposit will be required. The deposit is 50% of you total quote with the remainder of the cost being paid 30 days prior to the operation. The amount can be paid by electronic transfer, bank draft or credit/debit card.
4. We will collect personal information from you in order to co-ordinate and facilitate the services that are requested by yourself. Personal information collected may include, but is not limited to:
- Your name and address
- Date of Birth
- Passport and Travel details
- Contact details, mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses
- Bank account and credit card details
- Medical information (as per your consent and questionnaire form)
- Username and Password (as per our login features)
- Personal Data from the website
- Partner information.
It is important that you provide timely and accurate information in order for us to deliver the service to you. Failure to provide the information may result in "The Medical Tourist Company" delaying or being unable to provide the services to you.
In providing a quote and service to you "The Medical Tourist Company" may disclose information to its partners and service providers. "The Medical Tourist Company" will take reasonable care to ensure that our partners/service providers are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in regards to protecting your personal information.
Holding accurate Information
"The Medical Tourist Company" takes all practical precautions to ensure that the personal information we collect, use and or disclose is complete and correct, however, the accuracy of the information is subject largely to the details you submit. Therefore, "The Medical Tourist Company" recommends: -
You advise us if there is any omissions or errors in your personal details
Changes to your personal information or contact particulars, (name/address)
5. We will deal with all correspondence with you by fax, email and telephone in respect of planned medical treatment, medical information, and travel and concierge details. We assure you that we will do our utmost to ensure confidentiality of information.
6. "The Medical Tourist Company" presents information, products and services through our website. When you utilise our site, the web server records anonymously detail, including time, date and URL of the request. The information is used to augment and develop the configuration of our site and monitor ongoing website performance.
"The Medical Tourist Company" may use 'cookies' on our web site. Cookies are an industry standard and most major web sites use them. A cookie is a small text file that our web sites may place on your computer. Usually, cookies are used as a means for our web sites to remember your preferences. As such, cookies are designed to improve your experience of our web sites.

We partner our customers during this journey to provide a quality service. We can not however accept any responsibility for the outcome of any medical or surgical treatment you receive based on any information you receive from us. We act as facilitators introducing our customers to our service partners and assist with the logistics of organising the treatment.
